For the next 24 hours after your colonic we recommend the following: Hydrate well Drink plenty of water, coconut water, or herbal tea. Eat light, nourishing foods Great choices include: • soups or broths • steamed vegetables • smoothies • quinoa or brown rice • fish, tofu, or lentils If you enjoy Asian food, coconut soup from many Asian restaurants is a great option — it’s typically dairy-free and can include protein or be made vegetarian. Avoid today • alcohol and caffeine • fried or processed foods • very spicy or heavy meals • gas-forming foods (beans, cabbage, carbonated drinks) • raw foods like salads or sushi, which can be too rough for digestion immediately after a colonic Rest & gentle movement Allow your body to rest today. Light walking or stretching is fine, but avoid intense workouts. Your next bowel movement may be delayed a day or two — this is completely normal.
